Denim Canyon Coat

Well made, very free size. Bought to wear during third trimester and beyond. A nice outer layer for going on walks!

I live in the bay area where it rarely gets actually cold, and I run very hot. This is the perfect coat for every season here. The non close open makes it easy to layer with and if you are warm it can also be perfectly breezy. The denim + corduroy combo makes its satisfyingly heavy and comforting. The length is flattering and protective feeling. The fabric is clearly very high quality denim. So basically the only jacket i will ever need- warm and sometimes breezy, heavy, long, classic trendy shape. It dresses up the most mundane fits

Ok I was hesitant to order this coat and waited a while, because one size fits all usually doesn’t work for me generally, but I am so glad I finally grabbed one. It is amazing! I am typically a Medium in HDV but like the puff top in L/XL for oversized fit. I am 32F and 28 in bottoms. This coat is everything I have been looking for in a coat, the denim shade is perfect, the stitching is perfect. I also love that there is no hardware to mess with. I can tell that it is well constructed and like other HDV pieces is intended to last a long time with proper care.

I love, love, love, honeydove vintage. The ethics, the devotion to femininity, the gorgeous designs. I have been a follower for years and a buyer for the last 2ish years. (I live in Canada and the exchange kills me + shipping + duty). I recently was gifted this gorgeous denim canyon coat from my husband for my birthday. Last year he bought me the organic cotton thermal sleep dress and obsidian sun earrings ♡. The coat arrived presumably uninspected because there was production tape, presumably ironed on, to the corduroy interior/reversible side. After an attempt to remove the tape it was ruining the fabric I stopped and immediately contacted the customer support. It takes 4 business days for a reply, fair enough!! But every reply took 4 days until we finally arrived to the plan that I would send the coat back and they would ship a replacement. It took 10 days for customer service to send me the return address (which was covered up with international shipping labels on the original purchase.) All this to say, it was 7 weeks from initial contact to me receiving the replacement coat. And I do truly appreciate the replacement happening but the customer service experience was really upsetting. It is now the dead of winter here in Canada and my beautiful coat will have to wait to make it's debut until spring. I really hope Charlotte continues to grow and prosper. I only mean this review as an honest long term customer to help the business grow. The coat is a 5/5

I'll admit I was a little hesitant to order this coat because of the price tag, but I'll just as readily admit that the coat is 100% perfect and worth every penny spent.

I was a little worried by the photos that I, as a true medium who sizes up to L on outerwear, that it would make me either look fat or uncomfortable or butch. NONE OF THAT HAPPENED, CHICEST COAT ON EARTH, IT IS SUPER FLATTERING, FEMININE, NOT TOO BOXY, WARM, EFFORTLESS, WITH THE WONDERFUL CORDUROY. Corduroy for days.

At first I was sad that they were out of the light blue, which looks just divine, but I ordered the beige and it is the perfect color, it matches everything... including this "turn it up to eleven" pin my dad just gave me.

The coat is a NYC deli, a stop at the subway station, a hayride through the orchard, a film photo, a stroll through the park with the falling leaves. Only wish it would get colder sooner because it's still a little warm to be wearing it 24/7 like I want to be.

HDV knocking it out of the park, helping me be the coolest, most stylish person in real life that ever was ;)
